PDM Automatic login

This article explains how to set up automatic login in SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional using the PDM Administration tool. Follow the steps below to configure automatic login for your vault.

Step 1: Open the SOLIDWORKS PDM Administration tool. Press the Windows key, type Administration, and select the SOLIDWORKS PDM Administration application from the search results.

Step 2: In the Administration tool, navigate to Settings in the bottom-left panel.

Step 3: Inside Settings, select the Automatic Login tab.

Step 4: From the vault dropdown, select the vault you want to configure for automatic login. Then check the Use automatic login for this vault option. Once enabled, enter the username and password for the vault user in the fields provided.

Step 5 (optional): If you use Windows credentials to log in to SOLIDWORKS PDM, select the Login as the currently logged-in Windows user option instead of entering manual credentials.
