How to fix Java error when installing 3DEXPERIENCE apps

Why does the 3DEXPERIENCE installer show a 64-bit JRE error?

This error appears because the 64-bit Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is not installed on your computer. To fix it, download and install the 64-bit JRE .msi file linked in the error message, then restart your computer and relaunch the 3DEXPERIENCE installation.

How to fix the 64-bit JRE error during 3DEXPERIENCE installation

  1. In the error message dialog, click the second link — the one for downloading the 64-bit Java Runtime Environment.

  2. Download the JRE file (.msi).

  3. Exit the installation of the 3DEXPERIENCE app.

  4. Locate the downloaded JRE .msi file and run it to install the Java Runtime Environment. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
  5. Restart your computer.
  6. Restart the installation of your 3DEXPERIENCE app.

Your 3DEXPERIENCE app should now install without any Java errors.
