[SOLIDWORKS Electrical](https://faq.mecad.co.za/knowledge/solidworks-electrical?hsLang=en) # SOLIDWORKS Electrical Schematic: How to download additional components and their libraries **What is the SOLIDWORKS Electrical Content Portal?** The SOLIDWORKS Electrical Content Portal is a cloud-based library service hosted by Dassault Systèmes. It gives engineers instant access to a comprehensive catalog of qualified electrical components from leading manufacturers, so they can download and integrate parts directly into their SOLIDWORKS Electrical projects. An active internet connection and a valid SOLIDWORKS subscription are required to access and download content. **How to access the Electrical Content Portal:** 1. In SOLIDWORKS Electrical Schematic, click the **Help** tab. 2. Click **Electrical Content Portal** in the CommandManager. ![Under the 'Help' tab, 'Electrical Content Portal' appears. On the **Home** tab, you will find the most downloaded manufacturers. 2. Use the **Search Bar** to find a specific manufacturer. 3. Enter a manufacturer name in the **Search Bar** and click **Search**. Select the part or component library to download. 2.
